Errol Spence Jr. is an American boxer born on March 3, 1990. Spence is a former welterweight champion. He has trained in amateur boxing since the age of 15. Spence has won the U.S. National Golden Gloves program three times.
Spence made his professional debut in 2012. Starting in 2017 and in the following years, he held titles like WBA Super, WBC, and IBF.
In May 2017, he knocked out Kell Brook to secure the IBF welterweight title. Followed by winning the WBC welterweight title in September 2019 against Shawn Porter. He has also won the WBA (Super) welterweight title by defeating Yordenis Ugás. He has successfully defended his championships before losing them to Terence Crawford for the WBO and vacant The Ring welterweight titles. This is Spence's first professional loss. After a year's gap, he is now going to face Tim Tszyu in the ring.

Tszyu won the interim WBO light-middleweight title in 2023. He lost his world title to Sebastian Fundora in 2024 and then lost another match to Bakhram Murtazaliev. However, Tszyu managed to get his game together by winning against Joseph Spencer, Anthony Velazquez, and Denis Nurja. Having the WBO International middleweight championship now, Tszyu is set to challenge Errol Spence Jr.
