F1 Belgian Grand Prix 2026- Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is one of the most famous and historical Formula 1 tracks. The circuit was originally constructed in 1921 from a public road linking the towns of Francorchamps, Malmedy, and Stavelot. However, in 1979 it underwent reconstruction and today measures 7.004 km in length. It is shorter compared to the initial 14.982 km track length. But it is still considered the longest circuit currently used in Formula 1.
Spa has been hosting Formula 1 since 1950, while the first Belgian Grand Prix took place in 1925. Over the years, the track earned a reputation as one of the hardest Formula 1 circuits. Located at the heart of the picturesque Ardennes Forest, Spa-Francorchamps continues to deliver exciting races year after year.
